Interactive Data Services Pty Ltd (EZYrecharge, us, our, we) respects and upholds your rights to privacy protection under the National Privacy Principles. This policy describes how we manage any personal information we have about you.
Why does EZYrecharge collect personal information?
EZYrecharge may collect personal information primarily to conduct its business of providing for the supply of prepaid mobile airtime credit through the EZYrecharge facility ("Services"). For example, subscribers to our Services may need to provide personal information for the purposes of crediting their mobile accounts; and assisting us to maintain and improve or Services or to introduce new services. In addition, we may also collect personal information from users of our website(s) such as name and email address if you email us or provide comment. Persons and organisations which do business with us may also need to provide personal information so that business can be transacted (for example mobile phone credits purchased via PayPal).
What personal information about me does EZYrecharge hold?
To register for our Service, we need you to input your mobile phone number. This information is then linked to your existing PayPal account. We do not obtain access to personal banking information (at any time) and do not directly retain your name, address, email or any other personal information.
However, in the event that you raise a support query and/or we observe any unusual activity on your account, we may need to communicate with PayPal to resolve. In these circumstances, we may obtain access to the following information about you:
- Your name;
- Your address,
- Your contact telephone number(s);
- Your email address;
- Your PayPal billing details;
- Any other information you have provided to PayPal or us as a result of any dealing or transaction via our Services.
It is our policy to delete personal information if it is no longer needed by us; for example if you cease subscribing to a service through us.
What does EZYrecharge do with my personal information?
We may use personal information about you:
- To assist in or in connection with providing the Services to you;
- To create your account and for account management purposes;
- To communicate information to you in relation to the Services and our business generally; or
- For our internal administrative, marketing, planning, development and research requirements.
Will you pass personal information to third parties?
We may need to disclose your personal information to certain third party suppliers (on a confidential basis) that we use in the ordinary operation of our business, such as for data processing, account payment, credit verification or otherwise, with your consent.
We may disclose data to third parties in relation to your pre-payment selections and use of the Service you have subscribed to, but this will not include any information which personally identifies you.
We will not sell, rent or trade personal information about you to or with others which identifies you personally to them.
Openness
You may request access to personal information we hold about you by writing to The 'Privacy Officer' at the address below. Where we hold information that you are entitled to access, we will endeavour to provide you with a suitable range of choices as to how you access it (e.g. emailing or mailing it to you).
If you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, then you may request amendment of it. We will consider if the information requires amendment. If we do not agree that there are grounds for amendment, then we will add a note to the personal information stating that you disagree with it.

In this policy, the "phrase personal" information has the same meaning as under the Privacy Act.
